The cultivation of anti-corruption values is essential for everyone and should begin at an early age to build moral awareness and integrity. One effective way to foster anti-corruption character development is through practical and meaningful learning experiences such as buying and selling activities in early childhood settings. This study aims to explore (1) the implementation of buying and selling activities at TK An-Naja Surabaya, and (2) the effectiveness of these activities in promoting anti-corruption character development. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to capture the natural context of learning. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation to understand how teachers integrate character education within children’s daily experiences. The findings reveal that buying and selling activities are implemented as enjoyable learning experiences designed to simulate real-life economic interactions. Children are encouraged to participate as both buyers and sellers, learning the values of honesty, fairness, responsibility, and discipline through play. The results further indicate that these activities effectively nurture anti-corruption attitudes by fostering a sense of accountability and transparency in young learners. By engaging in role-play transactions, children develop an understanding that fairness and honesty are essential in social and economic interactions. This approach also strengthens social-emotional competencies, communication skills, and cooperative behavior. Therefore, the implementation of buying and selling activities in early childhood education serves not only as a pedagogical tool but also as a strategic medium for sustainable character education and the early prevention of corrupt behavior.
