This study aims to explore patterns of children’s behavior that support cognitive development during the golden age period at Sejahtera 1 Kindergarten, Kamal. The golden age represents a crucial phase for shaping children’s thinking abilities, conceptual understanding, and intellectual growth. A systematic observation method was employed, involving children aged 5–6 years as research subjects. The focus of observation included children’s abilities to recognize colors, geometric shapes, and color-related vocabulary in English. The findings revealed that, initially, several children experienced difficulties in maintaining attention, identifying geometric forms, and naming colors in English. However, through the implementation of stimulating activities—such as color and shape-matching games and language-based play—children showed significant improvements in concentration, understanding of geometric concepts, and vocabulary mastery. The results were analyzed based on Jean Piaget’s cognitive development theory, emphasizing active learning, individual differences, and age-appropriate stimulation. In conclusion, positive behavioral patterns can be effectively nurtured through adaptive learning strategies, responsive teacher support, and a conducive learning environment to optimize children’s cognitive development during the golden age.
